Swim Lesson Instructor Certification classes have been posted on the calendar in May. In order to teach swim lessons, you MUST attend one of the classes and become a certified Aqua Tech Swim Lesson Instructor.
In addition to our competative salaries, Aqua Tech is proud to offer each of our lifeguards the chance to earn a bonus at the end of the summer season. There are several factors for determining the amount of the bonus, so please read the attached document below to familiarize yourself with these conditions. The maximum amout one can earn is fifty cents per hour worked- WOW!! Click here to review the Qualifications for receiving a bonus.
W-2's: 2009 W-2's have been mailed. If you did not receive yours, please call the office. We had several returned due to address changes. If it has not been returned to us, you will need to come by the office personally to pick up a new copy. Tax Returns are due by April 15th!
Directions to View Your Pay Stubs Online:
NOTE: STARTING February 1, 2010, ALL returning employees must create a NEW online account following the directions below. New employees will not be able to create an account until you receive your first pay check.
1) Navigate to www.paychoiceonline.com
2) Click “Login To: Payroll”
3) Click on the blue link entitled “First Time Employee Login”
4) The First Time Username is created by combining your last name with the last 4 characters of your
SSN (i.e. Smith8795).
5) The Access Code is 17835723
6) You will be prompted to supply information to create a valid user login.
***WRITE DOWN YOUR LOGIN AND PASSWORD SO YOU DONT FORGET IT***
7) Once that is complete, you will be returned to the login page. Log in again using your new Login and
Password.
8) Click on our company name.
9) Check stubs may be viewed by clicking “Check View” located in the upper left corner of the screen.
*Please use the form included in your rehire packet to write down your username and password. If you happen for forget, please call HR and we can reset your account. Each time this happens, you will have to create a new account. Please help us by keeping this info stored in a safe, easy to access place.
Important Information:
1.) Direct Deposit: Aqua Tech has gone paperless. This means pay checks will no longer be mailed to you, but your earnings will be directly deposited into your bank account. If you do not have a checking account, you will need to open one.
2.) CPR Recertification Classes: ALL ATPM employees must schedule their CPR recertification through Aqua Tech. You must get recertified in CPR EVERY YEAR- no exceptions. Employees who do not get recertified will not be rehired in 2010. A copy of all current certification cards must be on file before you can begin work. Beginning in February, please use our website calendar to select a class and call HR to reserve your spot ASAP. We DO NOT accept American Heart Saver Association CPR as their methods are slightly different from the American Red Cross.
*When you come in for CPR, this will also be a good time to update tax forms, or any other information that has changed since last year.
3.) Interviews and Paperwork: All new hires must apply online and speak to an HR representative to schedule an interview.Your interview will take no longer than 15 minutes. You will not be assigned to a "Home Pool" until you have successfully registered for a Certification Course. It is in your best interest to register for a class as soon as possible as pools will be assigned ona first-come first-serve basis.
All returning guards must return the pink paperwork included in the Rehire Packet by February 1, 2010 to be guaranteed a spot at a pool of your choice
4.) Uniform: Aqua Tech Requires all guards to wear a RED Speedo lifeguard suit and the company logo t-shirt. To order your suit, please navigate to www.augustaswim.com Click on TEAMS, our team name is Aquatech, and out password is 1234.
Time Clock System:
Please remember to clock in and out each shift. Only use the time clock system for REGULAR shift hours. All pool party and swim lesson hours will be paid separately.
